Ted is an extremely loving dog who will enjoy the company of his owners. He likes a lot of attention and needs to be reminded that he can’t be played with all day long.

He is very agile for a Labrador and his favourite game is ball catching and retrieval.

He likes to play with his toys for long periods and is not possessive of them. Ted enjoys his walks on pavements and in woods/fields, and while on a long lead, his recall is very good.

He will now happily walk past tradesmen/people in their gardens, but can get over excited (barking & lunging) at oncoming dogs and their owners – but this is improving.

He is eager to learn and has been practicing new commands.

Like all Labradors, he is food obsessed, but will not bother you during meal times. However, any food left on kitchen surfaces is considered fair game by him. Ted did not tolerate a crate but sleeps very well on a bed in a utility room.
