Murphy is 2.2 years of age. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped and has no known health problems. HE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR HOMING IN THE NEW YEAR.

Murphy came to me from Dublin pound, at first he paced around my house for 3 days before he would settle, when I took him to the vet she observed that he was head shy and had callouses on his elbows and his testicles. She said that he probably was kept in a cage to be a security dog. We got Murphy on the 3rd August 2025, at the start we concentrated on getting him used to being touched, as he would flinch if touched, he growls when he is unhappy about anything but when told to leave the room he does but comes back in to apologise with a bump from his head but mostly he will stand on your knee and try to cuddle (he really is a big softie) he is fine around cats but will annoy the life out of them by constantly sniffing after them. He has no idea about how to be around dogs, he will sniff them constantly (he needs to be taught to be around dogs) we walked him on a figure of 8 lead as he is very strong, when he sees other dogs he will bark or lunge, We think it is because he wants to go to them and to play. but because of his size, dogs (and owners) are wary of him. His recall is not very good, it depends on how he is feeling in that moment, he knows, sit, wait, his table manners are good.
